For Parents & Little Ones
Natural Hair Websites for Little Ones
Our Natural Kids
To share ideas & resources while promoting healthy hair care and maintenance for children with kinky-curly or multi textured hair.
Beads, Braids and Beyond
After searching high and low for a blog catered to Biracial/African American children's hair care and coming up short I decided to create my own. I want to showcase a variety of natural children's hairstyles and show other moms that yes, your child does have options.
Chocolate Hair Vanilla Care
Chocolate Hair / Vanilla Care is evidence that if I can do hair, anyone can do it! The blog started as my way of helping other adoptive/foster parents learn to care for chocolate hair, but has grown into so much more. In addition to chronicling everyday activities such as growing hair, products, and step-by-step instructions, I also talk about what it means to be a vanilla mama of a chocolate girl, and how we explore identity, respect, and empowerment, using hair as our common language.
Afro Puffs and Ponytails, Inc.
Afro Puffs and Ponytails, Inc. is a non-profit organization created primarily for supporting and uplifting African American/Black Girls! Our website provides encouraging articles, events, program listings, and resources for African American/Black teen girls, young girls, and their parents.
Untrained Hair Mom
I started to document the trials and tribulations of D’s natural hair care journey in hopes of inspiring others, by informing them and providing them with resources, reviews and style how-to’s. Through this journey I have learned so much and this blog has evolved into much more.M y goal is to create a healthier home environment for my family, by replacing our chemical fill products with natural ingredients. I love to share what I learn about natural and green living by providing household tips, natural remedies and recipes, natural, kid-friendly, family-oriented product reviews and fun giveaways of these eco-friendly products!
